Legal Assistant - Residential Conveyancing
Salary - £20-£22k per annum

About the Role
Our client is looking for a Legal Assistant to join us to provide a high-quality and efficient service to clients in a busy Conveyancing transactions team. Reporting directly to a Solicitor, your focus will be on efficiently managing your workload and being proactive with the ability to work on your own initiative.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience within Conveyancing. You will get the opportunity to work in a professional legal environment, offering a supportive team structure and career progression.
The natural progression from this position would be to become a Property Lawyer via internal training programmes/training contracts.
Roles & Responsibilities:
* Supporting with the ongoing client files
* Working directly with the Property Paralegals & Solicitors
* Completing Land Registry searches
* Updating clients on their property progress
* Setting up and updating client files via case management system
* Checking and uploading documents, ID and client packs
* Communicating with clients via phone and email
* Handling calls, providing updates on existing files and dealing with any other enquiries.
* Sending client feedback forms and questionnaires
* Ensuring vetting, compliance and file management expectations are upheld
