A unique opportunity for a Production Manager to work with our prestigious client based in Middlesex who specialise in having the widest range of equipment in their sector. With over 85 years' experience, our client prides themselves on their dedicated teams and knowledge to engineer and custom build solutions to meet any of their clients' requirements.
Our client is looking for a strong, dynamic leader to help manage and guide the production teams to ensure the production line is running effectively and at the best of its ability.
The role of the Production Manager will include:-
Contribution to overall supervision of the business by monitoring and reducing costs, achieving on time in full service levels and operating a safe working environment whilst managing new product introduction and promoting strong cross function.
Ensure the electrical department runs smoothly and achieves targets.
Responsibility of product quality and that the product is compliant with company policy and current legislations.
Responsible for management & upkeep on production, plant and equipment.
Oversee and advise all electrical works carried out by the assemblers and technicians ensuring safe practice is followed.
Responsibility for completion of the departments production documentation/reports which relate to the departments performance.
Responsible for managing development, discipline and welfare of all department staff to maximise their morale and motivation to help the business achieve its objectives & targets.
Essential skills of the Production Manager:-
Experience of managing staff/strong leadership skills.
Experience of working with industrial electrical pane build and electric/electronic assembly.
Have worked in a production, processed driven environment.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
Confident problem solver and decision maker.
Good ability to use Outlook & Excel.
Health & Safety experience (desirable)
