This is a new position for highly skilled Back End PHP Developer to join an innovative young software company who are on a mission to improve the sustainability and reduce waste produced within the seafood industry by developing efficient trading tools which improve the transparency of the complex supply chain.

Having recently received high value investment from some of the global tech industry's most prestigious VC's they are now in a phenomenal position to continue their mission.

They are now looking for exceptional Software Engineers to join them on their exciting adventure and to understand, plan and implement solutions to our user's problems as effectively as possible.

You'll be asked to:

Help capture requirements and understand the problem space in order to architect and plan upcoming work

Build efficient, scalable and reusable technical solutions

Maintain and enhance automated test suites

Participate in reviewing the quality of your peers' work

Contribute to standards, processes and adoption of new tools

Improve performance and security within the platform

Break down and solving big problems

You should have experience of:

Back-end - PHP (and Laravel), or Python or Ruby

Hosting - AWS

Automated testing - Cypress, Jest, PHPUnit

Working on SAAS or marketplace products

Working in a fast-paced environment
