Fundraising Manager - Suffolk Libraries is an independent and charitable society which runs Suffolk's public library service and prison libraries in several counties including Suffolk, Bedfordshire, and Nottinghamshire.

Our vision is to "transform lives through access to knowledge and resources, promote lifelong learning and strengthen communities by meeting their evolving needs."

We're looking for a full time Fundraising Manager to join our team.

The Fundraising Manager will lead on the development and delivery of fundraising across Suffolk Libraries. The postholder will create viable fundraising opportunities, develop supporting budgets, and deliver the expected financial return. A key focus will be developing regular giving.

This role will be responsible for the delivery of a fundraising programme that engages the staff, volunteer team and Suffolk residents. A key aspect of the role is to work with SLT members, local managers, and volunteers to ensure that there is organisation-wide 'buy in' to the Suffolk Libraries fundraising proposition. It is important that this role is not seen as the organisation's sole fundraiser but rather as a facilitator for excellent fundraising across our sites and through our digital infrastructure.

What you will need to succeed:

Significant experience of working in a fundraising role with the ability to plan, budget and deliver against targets
Ability to creatively develop strategy in event planning, donor relations and financial operations
Excellent interpersonal, written and relationship-building skills, with the ability to write compelling bids and business cases as well as engage stakeholders at all levels
Experience of devising, planning, and delivering a diverse range of projects involving multiple stakeholders
Ability to work autonomously and act on own initiative, seeking advice and escalating issues when appropriate
Experience of managing people

We enhance life opportunities by improving literacy, nurturing better wellbeing, reducing social isolation, and championing diversity to create more cohesive communities.

On offer is a salary of £33000 per annum. This is hybrid role with a mixture of working between our office in Ipswich and remotely.

The closing date for applications is 20th June 2022..

If this sounds like the opportunity for you and you have the relevant skills and experience, please apply by forwarding an up-to-date CV as soon as possible. We look forward to hearing from you.

If you require any reasonable adjustments such as access or information in an alternative format, please inform us soon as you are able so that we can make the appropriate adjustments.
