Situated in East Dulwich, our Gumboots Nursery is busy and vibrant with an outstanding reputation within the local community. The Team is friendly and welcoming, putting a multi-layered education at the heart of their teaching. The nursery is one of our larger settings and after an exciting building project completed in June 2021, Gumboots can offer a spacious and modern environment, that ensures the children are constantly stimulated in their various rooms and outdoor areas.
LEYF is seeking an Educator who can match our approach to learning which always puts the child first. Exploring sensory through to independence and healthy eating, Gumboots extends the child's learning and focuses on their interests and achievements.
Working with your key children, you will ensure that the activities you are planning are inspiring their learning and encouraging their curiosity. You will be responsible for observations and safeguarding the children within the setting and ensuring that every day has something unique and fun in store.
Job Requirements
Full and relevant child-care qualification at level 3 or above
Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
12 months experience working in an early year's setting
To continually strive for best practice in yourself and inspiring others
Have a passion for making a difference to the community
A child centred approach to teaching using creative and exciting methods to engage and stimulate
