Supply Desk are currently working closely with a 'Good' primary school in Leeds. The school are recognised within the local community as holding high standards and expectations for the children's work and behaviour in and around the school. The quality of teaching in reading, writing and mathematics is consistently good around the school as the teachers are expect the children to work hard. The school is widely recognised as a place where positive relationships are formed and the children are well looked after. The ideal candidate would be expected to maintain the schools existing reputation.
The school are looking to recruit a general teaching assistant to work with KS1 classes. As a general teaching assistant you would be expected to help plan and deliver basic phonics and numeracy lessons to the class, whilst also sometimes working on a 1:1/small group basis with disengaged pupils. The school are looking for general teaching assistants with positive and upbeat personalities who can add value to the school's existing reputation.
