Our Head Office is in the centre of Manchester, where we sometimes meet to kick off projects, for specific work events, or socials, it is of course open during office hours for anyone to use.
We have a growing client base and are not only continuing to improve our core product, but also adding optional modules to enable functionality such as payment throttling, managing securities as well as cash, big data reporting and predicting payment profiles.
What's the Role?
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for working with both internal stakeholders and external clients to define, challenge and agree business requirements.
Working within our product teams, you'll help evolve our understanding of our customers journey and translating those requirements into workable user stories.
As well as building out the backlog for your assigned functional area(s) you will be accountable for partnering with our engineering teams to deliver cost effective, best-in-class enterprise software solutions within the agreed release schedule.
You will work with our engineering teams throughout the SDLC to ensure the end product will be well received by users. Embedding high quality requirements throughout the process is a core element of your user story development and interaction with our engineering teams.
Finally, you will generate/maintain Product documentation and resources related to your functional area(s) which will be used by our implementation teams when engaging clients.
Have three or more years of Business Analysis experience
Demonstrable track record of successful delivery
Excellent client and stakeholder management skills
Be able to understand, challenge and elicit detailed user requirement from clients and stakeholders
Be able to accurately separate 'needs' from 'wants'
Ability to break down requirements into discrete deliverable user stories
Able to work with engineering teams to help them translate requirements into system design
Self-sufficient and proactive, and able to deliver objectives within agreed timescales
Be able to manage and escalate when appropriate risks, issues, and challenges
In-depth knowledge of Agile process and principles
Knowledge of Financial Services Industry and more specifically Intraday Cash and Liquidity Management
Ideally understands and has experience of Payments and SWIFT messaging
Ability to adapt and be comfortable working within a dynamic environment
Encourage and facilitate collaboration between the teams
