IT Systems Analyst / Technical Systems Analyst / Analyst Developer

Bristol or London - Hybrid working available

6 months / inside IR35

An experienced IT Systems Analyst is required play a key role on helping to develop and improve BI and reporting tools as part of a large digital transformation programme.

The Role:

Leading software development projects delivered by external suppliers (overseeing the design, programming and testing)
Hands-on analysis and troubleshooting of software integrations issues between core business systems.
Working on data migration & cleansing projects linked to various business application used within the firm
Providing technical knowledge and support to Business Analysts and Project Managers
Assisting with technical analysis , design and development of new software systems
Working on integrations between our core business systems
Support internal development and maintenance of firm BI solution
Providing input into all relevant project and departmental documentation as required to ensure the solution can be maintained and supported in-life
Ensuring solutions follow the guidance laid out by the Strategy and Architecture function, most notably when making choices between 'off-the-shelf'/standardised and 'internally developed'/bespoke and in ensuring fit to long term IT objectives.
Skills & Experience Required:

Previous experience within software development
Strong software analysis skills
Familiarity with all stages of the software life cycle.
Troubleshooting software systems and integrations issues.
Exposure to BI and Datawarehouse technologies.
Knowledge of basic T-SQL
Advantageous but not required, working knowledge of SSRS, SSAS, SSIS, Azure Service Bus
