Field Service Engineer (Mobile/Mechanical/Automotive Technician)

Manchester, Oldham and Bolton Territory

40 Hours a Week Monday to Friday

The role will be suitable for engineers from any kind of maintenance / service background including automotive technicians or ex forces engineers. You need to demonstrate mechanical and some basic electrical skills. You will be fully supported in the role by senior engineers and an excellent training plan.

You will be responsible for carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown coverage on a range of materials handling machinery and associated equipment on a field service basis. You'll cover a local territory, no stay away is required. The work involves engine and electrical diagnostic skills on a range of forklift trucks.

The role in brief:

*Carry out planned maintenance activities on materials handling machinery on a field service engineering basis

*Reactive breakdown coverage within the allocated geographical area, primarily Manchester, Bolton and Oldham.

*Complete comprehensive training to get fully competent on all machinery and equipment

*Voluntary call out (paid extra)

The Person required:

*Maintenance/service engineering skills

*Hands on engineering background

*Hold a level 3 or equivalent
