Forklift Driver/ Yard Person

We are currently recruiting for a Yard person to work in a heavy engineering facility in Birtley. You will be working in a busy manufacturing environment assisting the fabricators and welders to manufacture large steel structures. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the below;

* Moving metal and completed parts around the yard using a counter balance forklift

* Using hand tools to prepare and finish metal alongside the fabricators and welders.

* Maintain a clean and safe work shop/yard.

This will be a day shift role working 7am- 3:30pm with overtime available after work and on a Saturday. This role will be paying £10-£11 with overtime paid at time and a half.
