Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer with an Engineering or Manufacturing background? Do you have experience using Autodesk Inventor OR a heavy-duty engineering backrgound? If so, we are seeking a highly skilled 2x Mechanical Design Engineer on a permanent basis for a company that supply globally specialising the design and manufacture of standard and bespoke mechanical equipment for a variety of different industries (Oil and Gas, Power Generation, Petrochemical etc.) to take on a challenging, varied role within a small close knit team to take responsibility for design through to sign off for a variety of heavy duty mechanical equipment.

Essential Requirements / Experience:

* Proven Mechanical Design Engineering skills with an engineering or manufacturing background

* Proficient with Autodesk Inventor (If not, any CAD package could be suitable depending on any heavy engineering background)

* The successful candidate will have solid core design skills that is happy to take on a varied role

* We are looking for a real people's person that is keen to learn and able to fit into a small close knit team

* Competitive annual salary £30,000 - £45,000 per annum (Flexible dependant on experience level)

Mechanical Design Engineer x2
The Role

* As a Mechanical Design Engineer you be responsible for the design of standard and bespoke mechanical equipment and pressure vessels using Inventor (Training provided)

* This going to be varied role where you are not restricted and given free reign, ultimately looking for someone to working in a small team of 3 and take on a lot of responsibility:

* Pressure vessel / pressure equipment design, supporting on the shop floor, liaising with all departments

* Generating design calculations, FEA to provide engineering solutions for customers (This experience isn't essential)

* Creating Bills of Material (BOM's) & Part lists, carrying out all engineering work to meet order requirements
