A FINANCE ADMINISTRATOR required for my client based in central Birmingham, working in a busy environment with a team of Financial Advisors. You will be a key member of the team providing support with managing and maintaining investment portfolios.

This is a full time permanent position paying £25,000.

Key Responsibilities:

To provide efficient administrative support to a team of Independent Financial Advisors (IFA's)
Prepare correspondence including letters and emails
To be a point of contact for clients
Maintenance of Intelligent Office and Microsoft systems, ensuring all client data is accurate and up to date
Maintenance of diary management system, ensuring daily workflow is completed in line with agreed SLA's
Ensure appropriate documentation is scanned and attached to the relevant client records
Prepare new business and review packs for IFA client meetings
Obtain illustrations for products from providers either on-line or over the telephone
Undertake filing, photocopying and scanning duties when required
Obtain valuations/details on existing policies, ensuring administration system is updated accurately
Any other reasonable request made by a Director/Manager of the business
The Person:

Ideally have 12 months experience within a similar position
Knowledge of pensions, investments and protection products
Have good organisational and planning skills and able to work to deadlines
Able to forge and develop relationships
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel & Outlook
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Must have a keen eye for detail
Willing to learn and develop
Able to work as part of a team, or if required, under your own initiative
