Specialist SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with challenging behaviour
Salary: £70 to £80/day
KS2 and SEN Experience is required
Start date: ASAPBrandt Education are looking on behalf of a client primary school in Oldham for an experienced and confident Specialist Teaching Assistant to work with complex needs/behaviour needs on a long-term basis. The position is to start ASAP. The candidate needs to be nuturing, empathetic but also have a strong behaviour management skills.

The successful teaching assistant will be expected to work with different pupils on a 1:1 basis to help assist with well- being, daily routines and daily activities, whilst also supporting the class teacher. It is important to create a safe environment for the children to support them at all times. The school is an excellent school and has a great support team to help with your needs.

Please only apply for this role if you have SEN experience. This role would suit SEN teaching assistants, support workers or residential workers.

Good behaviour management is essential.

Assist 1:1 with the pupils and ensure well-being is maintained
Ensure that teaching and learning is maintained.
Must be well versed in behaviour management and keep up to date with behaviour strategies.Requirements:

Must have right to work within the UK.
Hold a clean and up to date DBS.If you do not currently have a DBS, we can help with your DBS application.
