ABC Teachers are currently recruiting an experienced SEND Teaching Assistant for a full-time role in South Birmingham. This is an ongoing position, starting in September 2022.
About the role:
Providing assistance to the class teacher in supporting students in small nurture groups, and on a 1:1 basis.
Deliver specialist assistance to young people with a range of Moderate Learning Difficulties , primarily ASD.
Working in a supportive environment, with a child-centred and individualised approach to education

Based in South Birmingham, easily accessible from King's Heath, Edgbaston and Moseley.
A strong team ethos with supportive leadership, where the needs of the students always come first.
Have strong communication skills with the ability to quickly built rapport with students
Have suitable experience working with young people with SEND that we can reference
Strong knowledge of MLD, ASD and associated needs
Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check
