We are recruiting for a market leading Fire and Security business based in the North of England and Scotland who operate and provide exceptional solutions Nationwide. With over 20 years experience in the industry our client supplies tailor-made multiple products into a diverse range of customers.

Job Title: Fire and Security Engineer

Location: North of England and Scotland

Reports to: Operations Manager

Job Purpose: To work in the service team operating on site across medium to large projects Servicing both Fire and Security systems.

Roles and responsibilities:

* Servicing of both Fire and Security systems.

* Diagnosing / resolving / assisting with day-to-day site issues.

* Enthusiastic and a great team player with good communication skills.

* Proactive attitude and with the right skill set to improve and develop within the company.

* Quality customer care and high standards.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

* Experience with servicing CCTV, access control, intruder and fire alarm systems.

* At least 5 years' experience within the fire/security, building/construction industry.

* Excellent verbal & written communication skills.

* Strong Knowledge of both Fire (Fire Alarms, Disabled Refuge, Induction loops and Vesda) & Security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intruder and Video Entry)

* Strong product and technical knowledge of the systems - (Salto, Gallagher - Access Control) (Milestone, Avigilon & Dahua- CCTV) ( GENT/SMS, Advanced & Morley).

* 5-10 years experience Servicing Fire & Security systems.

* Knowledge of Gent and Salto Systems is preferable.

* Knowledge of British standards.

* Hold FIA training modules.

* Product training relating to both Fire and Security Systems.

* ECS card.

* Asbestos Awareness.
