Role: Accounts Assistant - Sub-contractor ledger
Salary: £30,000 to £33,000

I have an exciting opportunity for an Accounts Assistant to join a wonderful organisation based in Greenwich. The role will suit a bright and experienced Accounts Clerk, with sales ledger / accounts receivable experience, keen to progress in an excellent finance team. Strong Excel and numeracy skills are essential.
Some of your duties will include:
Cash flow management
Maintaining the company Purchase and Sales Ledger
Post cash receipts
General Ledger, Reconciliation
Run cost reports, Month end procedures, Accruals
Liaising with third party providers, clients, and suppliers
Updating and maintaining procedural documentation
Sub-Contractor ledger post invoices, raise certs, process payment run and verifying their tax status with the HMRC
Providing all round administrative support for all the team and assisting with day to day activitiesThe ideal candidate will have:
Good Interpersonal skills, someone who can communicate effectively and efficiently with people at all levels.
Strong IT Knowledge of computer skills, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel is essential.
Knowledge of our accounts package Redsky summit 3000 and Xero would be advantageous although not essential as training would be provided.
Minimum of 3 years experience working within an Accounts Dept.
A very organised and capable approach to the workplace and a willingness to take responsibility of own workload.
Be able to work on own their own initiative.
The ability to work towards tight deadlines.

Hours per week 39 hours - 8am - 5pm (Monday-Thursday), 8am - 4pm on a Friday
Salary 30-33K depending on experience
