AWS Engineer

£45,000 - £55,000

Remote with 1-2 days on site in Coventry if possible

Company Information

We are currently recruiting for an AWS Engineer for a market leading brand that design and manufacture products used in households across the UK.

The AWS Engineer will sit in the Software Development team and will be responsible for development and maintenance of software applications out customer currently use/will use to support their 'Connected Services' proposition.

The services are hosted using AWS platform architectures and resources and as such a good understanding of cloud platform development is essential.

Knowledge of core computer concepts (e.g. object-oriented design, memory management, algorithm implementation) and practices (e.g. version control, agile development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery, DevOps) is very important for this role.

Skills and Experience:

AWS (Lambda, IOT Core, QuickSight, ECS, RDS, SQS, SNS and CloudWatch)
AWS Cloud Formation
Lambda / Python
Docker
RDS (SQL, Aurora & Redshift)
MQTT
SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL and SQL Server but any one of these is sufficient)
Git or other version controlNice to have skills/experience:

IOT Technologies
.NET (MVC,C#)
Visual Basic
JavaScript / jQuery
Angular / TypeScript
Terraform
