Talk Staff are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Digital Product Manager to join our fantastic client in Belper. The role is predominantly WFH but there will be times that travel into Belper and possibly Europe are required.
A vacancy exists for a full time Product Manager within the Digital Technologies team, reporting to the Digital Technologies Development Manager.
With responsibility for developing industry leading systems, you will manage the product life cycle of our digital solutions. The role will give you the ability to influence and innovate to drive the future of the business.
To be considered for the role, you'll require the following essentials:
The ability to identify factors which influence the market, such as customer needs, product applications, legislative drivers and incentives, installation practices and environmental issues.
You will need to have knowledge of heating and renewable products and ideally with Product or Project Management experience.
Excellent knowledge of the heating industry and it's direction of travel.
You should have a minimum of 3 years' experience in the heating industry and /or be qualified to HNC/Degree level in a technical discipline
Importantly, you will have well-developed communication skills, be an innovative problem solver and excellent data manipulation skills.
The role involves close liaison with other groups within the UK and Europe and requires occasional travel in the UK and abroad.
The ideal candidate will have experience and shown success identifying business opportunities and translating them into consumer products, ideally in technology or digital arena.
Within this position, you'll also be:
Develop and manage industry leading digital solutions for the UK market.
Monitor Product sales volumes, margins and reliability performance and manage resolution of all product specification and reliability issues in the field working closely with all internal stakeholders, Smart Solutions Team and IoT product owners.
Co-ordinate with brand teams, SSAD team and external customers to innovate and develop strategies and competitor argumentation for new and existing digital products to ensure Vaillant Group remain market leaders by enabling the commercial teams to effectively sell against the competition.
Analyse the market and identify product and solution opportunities for new and existing products.
Analyse competitor products and propose selling argumentation to support new and existing products.
Introduce new products to market in conjunction with the Brand marketing teams and other internal departments.
Support the sales teams with product information and training as required.
Salary & Working Hours
Salary is £35 - £40,000
Full Time Monday to Friday
