Location: Central London
Position: ODP

About the service:
We are delighted to be recruiting for a ODP to join our expanding theatre department within a private surgical clinic with an excellent reputation in central London. The clinic is ideally situated in Central London and is within easy reach of public transport links near Bond Street. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate ODP to join a leading, forward-thinking dedicated private Clinic in Central London. Within this role you will be reporting to the Anaesthetics Team Leader. The Clinic specialises in orthopaedics and sports injuries with their state of the art new facilities in West End of London, treating patients who have undergone day surgeries within the clinics 3 operating theatres.
About the role:
You will be working as an ODP and will be responsible for:
Delivering the highest quality of care to patients
Working closely with anaesthetic and recovery colleagues
Develop and enhance the skills and knowledge of yourself and others.
Promote evidence based on best practice; dealing with audits, lists, complaints, data handling, equipment organising
Ensure strict adhesion to legislation, policies and procedures.
Prepare patients for clinical/ operative procedures
Provide assistance in clinical/ operative procedures
Assessing, planning, delivering and evaluation of peri-operative patient care.
Who we're looking for;
Be NMC or HCPC - your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions
Eligibility to live and work in the UK
At least 2 years working within theatre
Ability to make decisions and use your initiative
Willingness to learn and grow in the role
Enthusiastic and empathetic individual
A flexible and positive attitude
