We are currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to work in Primary Schools in the Derby for day to day and longer-term positions. I have a selection of schools that need cover for sickness on a regular basis, the feedback from our teachers and TA's is outstanding.
Supervising work that has been set
Managing the behaviour of students to ensure a constructive environment whilst undertaking work - responding to any questions from students
Dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies in accordance with the school's policies and procedure
Collecting any completed work and resources after the lesson and returning them to the appropriate teacher or subject leader
Reporting back, as appropriate, using the school's agreed referral procedures, on the behaviour of students during the class, and any other issues arising
To undertake a 'duty' as part of the school's duty system (including break and lunch)
Support SEN pupils and lead interventions
Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification
Up to date CV
Child Workforce DBS on the update service (Teaching Personnel can help apply for one if needed)
Any additional qualifications (not essential but desirable)
Be able to work between 1-5 days per week

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
