Customer Support (Development) Trainer - 12 month FTC

Location: Hybrid working - Home and Brighton BN1

Hours: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday

Salary: £30,158 per annum

Initial Term: 12 months

Job Description

Our client is looking for an experienced Customer Service Trainer, Training Designer or L&D Practitioner who will work closely with a team of trainers, coaching and supporting them to design and deliver exceptional training to all Customer Support new starters and to design and delivery upskilling to develop the contact centre team.


Support, assess and coach the department trainers to enable effective learning and development
Evaluate and assess the effectiveness of the learning material and identify requirements for continuous improvement
Delivery of learning materials
Develop a flexible and multi-skilled training team increasing capability to deliver a range of learning solutions and improve customer and learner experienceEssential & Desirable Criteria

Know How

CIPD qualification in Learning & Development or equivalent
Understanding and practical experience of adult learning and development techniques and methodologies, gained through extensive experience as a trainer/HR professional
Extensive coaching experience
Knowledge of customer service call handling techniques
Understanding of differing learning styles and approaches to deliver both technical and behavioural learningProblem Solving

Think on feet and react quickly and effectively in learning environments
Evaluate the effectiveness of all learning and development and adapt approach as required
Knowledge of identifying and embedding continuous improvementPerson Specification

Proactive and flexible
Ability to prioritise and use initiative
Problem solving and analytical skills
Communication skills at all levels
