1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant (Behaviour Support) - (Bolton) (BL2)

A level 2 or above teaching assistant is required to work within one of our partnership schools located in Bolton. The school is a diverse community primary school of over 400 pupils and has a high proportion of pupil premium (around 50%). The role is to start in September 2022 until July 2023 (covering maternity), with the opportunity of earning a permanent contract if all goes well with the school and child.

The role is to work with a year 2 international new arrival that has had a traumatic up bringing. The child struggles to engage in activities for a long period of time and is working at a Nursery/Reception level. This is a challenging role with the pupil showing very challenging behaviours at times, however, is extremely rewarding as well.

The school has on-site parking and is easily accessible to those using public transport as it is situated just outside of Bolton Town Centre, which bus routes from Bolton interchange and most of Bolton run through.
