Teaching Personnel are looking for a Primary Teaching Assistant to work alongside a student who has additional needs. The pupil is due to start at the school in September and will be entering into Y2. The child is currently working at EYFS level and requires support with reading and writing.

The role will be starting in September and it will be a full time position. The school are looking to hire someone on a direct fixed term or permanent contract.

Key responsibilities of a graduate in this role

Assist the class teacher in carrying out their lesson plan
Keep control of the behaviour issues that occur
1:1 Tuition with students that require extra support in their subject
Lead small group intervention sessions
Be willing to assist in extracurricular activities
Promote healthy eating and hygiene
Implement the aims, policies and stated ethos of the school
The ideal graduate candidate

Previous experience working with children
Available 3-5 days a week
English and Maths GCSE C or above
Willing to apply for a Child Workforce DBS

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
