SRG are partnered with Abbvie, a global biopharmaceutical company who are searching for a recent or upcoming graduate to join their corporate communications team on a two-year internship. Roles and Responsibilities:
Development of social media content plan, which reflects the needs of the Business; incorporating FOBC, above brand, HR & culture, Voice of our Leaders content.
Ensure social media content is drafted, approved (1-2 weeks ahead of schedule) and scheduled to go out according to social media content plan. This includes content across Twitter and YouTube.
Daily monitoring of social media channels to ensure any comments, tags are dealt with in a timely fashion in accordance with the SOP; Twitter and LinkedIn senior leader long read posts.
Liaise with BCPR/HR/wider business to support on posting and appropriate scheduling of social content. However, the content owner should be responsible for approval of their own content.
To manage and maintain up to date content on (url removed); with particular focus on current affairs. Managing page expiry; includes liaison with page content owner to update content (including the removal of quotes from individuals no longer at the Company), then re submit for approval. Ensure that content reflects our global site updates; (url removed).
Manage and present quarterly social analytics at each EA Team meeting. Presenting trends and key learnings to take into following quarter. Campaign performance comparison. Impact of paid campaigns.
To support on the distribution of internal leadership and ERG emails, as and when they are required.
To support on the idea creation, drafting and development of internal news and features, where required.
To publish and manage the content across MyAbbVie intranet. Ensuring content is kept up to date, quick links managed.
To create, publish and distribute Go:Live Newsletter at the end of each month; incorporating all content published within said month, whilst also include New Joiners, Promotions and Leavers notification received from HR prior to the end of each month.
Ensure regular update and management of internal communications One Plan content tracker.ERG Involvement
Join an Employee Resource Group (Pride, WLA-UK, P&H, Vitality) to support through the sharing of news and support to generate interest in the group across the AbbVie community.
Studying (or recently graduated from) a degree develops and requires exceptional writing skills.
Demonstrable interest in social media and content creation; experience is not required although would be preferred.
Close attention to detail when reviewing your own work and the work of other team members.
Strong organisational capabilities, you will be required to schedule posts 1-2 weeks in advance so will need to have these approved on time.
Strong prioritisation abilities, comfortable balancing multiple projects at any one time.
Passionate about delivering an excellent content experience following a clear social media action plan to target specific audiences
