We are currently seeking an SEN Teacher to work at one of our local school's in Poole starting in September 2022.

The school offers specialised, high quality education, therapy and care for young people aged 3-19 years. The students who attend have physical disabilities or complex medical/neurological conditions and many have additional needs including communication difficulties, learning difficulties and sensory impairments.

The school are looking for a passionate and creative Teacher who has experience working with students with SEN/challenging behaviour. You will be expected to teach a range of subjects across the curriculum.

You must be enthusiastic and highly motivated and will be expected to make a significant contribution to the school. You will join their vision of high expectations of achievement and behaviour, and offer a nurturing and supportive ethos, celebrating differences and ensuring that everyone meets their full potential.

To be successful in this role you must:

have QTS or a similar teaching qualification
have experience working with children and/or adults with SEN
have a good understanding of Special Educational Needs, or a willingness to learn
have the ability to engage pupils in their learning and support them in their social, emotional and personal wellbeing
be nurturing and enthusiastic

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
