JOB TITLE: Purchasing Administrator

LOCATION: Witney (Hybrid working option)

DURATION: 12 Months

PAY: £25,000-£30,000 (dependant on experience)

The Client

Our client designs, develops and manufactures leading-edge glucose monitoring systems and test strips for use in both home and hospital settings. The product portfolio includes Freestyle Libre, a recently launched system that is revolutionising how people with diabetes around the world monitor their glucose levels. Our client is passionate about doing work that improves the quality of people's lives.

The Team

The team is currently made up of 7 members. 4 of which dealing with direct Procurement and 3 dealing with indirect Procurement. This role sits with the indirect Procurement team.

The Role

As the Procurement Support Specialist working with the indirect procurement team you will be responsible for many of the day to day tactical activities within the procurement remit, supporting the Supplier Account Managers (Senior Procurement Specialists) and other business stakeholders on purchasing transactional activities. From supporting the purchasing card programme to maintaining supplier confidentiality agreements, to coaching internal customers on procurement policies, you will deliver a seamless and effective support service to our varying teams.

The Candidate

Will have experience working for a large organisation
Will have experience in purchasing or buying
Will have some experience in procurement
Will have strong networking skills
Will be punctual and organised
