Are you a teacher looking for a role that allows you to work in focussed small groups providing specialist teaching support as a part of the National Tuition Programme?

At Connex Education, we are a National Tuition Partner and are currently the largest provider of tuition staff providing teachers and tutors to deliver excellent intervention and support for schools across the UK. We are working with a popular local community primary school based in Redcar who are currently looking for a Qualified Teacher to join their team to complete intervention mentoring work full time, 5 days per week starting in September 2022.

As an Intervention Teacher you will be required to provide National Curriculum support to small groups across KS1 or 2. Planned sessions will be a vital role in enabling children to catch up, bridging the gap created by the impact of the pandemic. This role is open to anyone with experience in KS1 & 2 teaching and holds QTS.

As a successful teacher you will possess:

QTS or equivalent
Previous experience teaching in KS1 or KS2, tutoring is advantageous
Good knowledge of the national curriculum
Be able to explain core curriculum content to a range of abilities.
The ability to work to the school's scheme of work and provide constructive and effective feedback
