Vacancy: Plant Fitter (Mobile & workshop based)
Sutton-on-Trent (NG23 6RT)
Up to £14.70 per hour (dependent on experience)
Overtime after 8 hours Mon-Fri
Weekends available
We are currently recruiting for an additional Experienced Plant Fitter (or Agricultural Engineer) to join our existing highly skilled team. Operating from modern workshops at Sutton-on-Trent, this is a permanent position offering an immediate start, with van provided.
Main duties will include: -
* servicing and repairs to agricultural machinery, forklifts, quarry plant, heavy industry vehicles and equipment
* fault finding on the same
* working on both customers and our own machinery
* recording relevant data, working to company procedures
* maintaining a high standard of housekeeping
* complying with health and safety legislation
The ideal candidate will possess: -
* proven experience in a similar role
* Mechanical, Hydraulic and Electrical knowledge
* fault diagnosis experience
* ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team
* good communication skills
* full UK Driving License
* a keen interest for all things mechanical
