Vision for Education are looking to appoint a Tutor to work within a primary school set in the Gosforth area. This is a part-time position, two days per week, commencing in September 2022 until December 2022, working between the hours of 09:00-15:30. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position is Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
The role
The Tutor will be carrying out the School-led Tutoring Programme within school, working on a 1:6 basis with pupils ranging from Year 1-Year 6. The tutor will be expected to focus primarily on Mathematics and improving pupils understanding of core concepts, whilst giving the pupils the additional support they need. Previous experience School-led Tuition would be beneficial; however, it is not essential.

Requirements
To be considered for the Tutor position, you will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Be able to offer tailored support and differentiated activities.
Have excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum.
Be able to confidently plan and deliver learning independently.
