Are you a positive and experienced educator who's looking for your next exciting challenge?

If so, you may have just found it!

At Remedy Tutors we are always on the look-out for exceptional teachers/tutors to support Looked After Children on a 1:1 basis. The majority of our work comes in the form of face-to-face tuition inside the student's home, at their school, or at a designated public space E.g. Local library. We do, however, have some online work to offer but the popularity of these roles means that they disappear quickly.

If successful we will aim to place you with the student that will benefit the most from your experience and specialisms. We understand that each student is unique and will have individual needs because of this we can offer anywhere between 2-20 hours per week.

The suitable candidate will have:

* An enhanced DBS on the update service.

* A UK recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, DTTLS, B'Ed, Etc)

* At least 2 years teaching/tutoring experience in the UK.

* Up to date knowledge for the syllabus you wish to teach.

* Good understanding of safeguarding protocols.

Depending on qualifications and experience, the pay rate is between £25-£30 per hour (Ltd)

We are committed to protecting tutors and students at every turn, as such any successful candidates will be subject to our stringent vetting process. All candidates are expected to uphold this commitment. You will be supported throughout your placements. Remedy staff are always on standby to advise or help in any way that we can.

About us:

We work with Local Authorities all over the UK in an effort to provide quality tuition for some of the most in-need students. We cater to a wide array of students from varying backgrounds. Such students may have SEN/SEMH, as such, experience in these areas would prove invaluable.

If you are an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher/tutor, please don't hesitate to get in touch, we'd love to hear from you
