My high-profile banking client is currently recruiting for a FX Production Controller on a 4-month contract, to be based in London working 35 hours a week.
The FX Levelling team that this role is part of provides visibility of the bank's FX risk position and works closely with Line of Business and Corporate stakeholders to validate these risk positions in line with the established governance framework. Once validated, the team reports the Risk to Corporate Treasury for hedging. The team monitors and reports to senior management the efficiency of the FX Risk management process. They do this by analyzing residual FX revaluation P&L to understand contributing causes and providing inputs into decision making to establish mitigating controls. Additionally, the FX Levelling team engages in key Treasury project initiatives focused on driving Operational Excellence within the bank.This is a dynamic role that requires the Analyst to business partner across multiple functions within CFO and across all global regions. The Analyst will be focused on analyzing risk data, sourcing appropriate validation of the risk, and timely escalation of unvalidated risk or any process issues that arise. Following completion of the process, they will assess process health and provide process metrics data supporting our assertions.The Analyst will provide insights and drive change as we work to simplify the process, reduce process latency and enhance our analytical capabilities through the use of a variety of business automation tools (Tableau, Alteryx etc.). The Analyst will deliver Operational Excellence via actions that promote simplicity, continuous improvement and innovation, e.g. generating ideas to improve work and data ownership, and seeking opportunities to reduce operational risk by improving our controls and becoming more efficient.Desirable:
