Reporting into the Head of Indirect Procurement and Operations as the Category Manager you will take the lead on defining and implementing the key projects in relation to your area. You will be responsible for understanding the needs of the business, sourcing solutions to deliver those needs and implementing them effectively in the business.As well as running sourcing activities for new demand you will manage the supplier relationships, negotiating terms and conditions, defining and managing Service Level Agreements and ensuring performance in line with the contract and needs of the business. You will support the local and global team to deliver operational excellence in your category, the implementation of our digital sourcing solution and other operational activities as needed.You will have regular reviews with key stakeholders providing them with information on spend development and supplier performance in your category. You will proactively stay close to the market to anticipate any new developments and areas that may impact on our business.

  • Degree in Finance, business administration or similar discipline
  • Extensive knowledge and skills in key areas of indirect procurement.
  • Sound understanding of a business environment, able to analysis data and translate key messages in a clear and concise way.
  • Outstanding Project Management skills and solid LEAN understanding.
  • Experience in procurement, RFP's, supplier and stakeholder management.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of E-Procurement Systems (SAP Ariba) preferred.
