Twenty 4 Seven Education have an exciting opportunity for an inspirational, dedicated and qualified Science Teacher to teach at a Secondary School in Coventry. This full time role is to start September on a permanent contract.

The Science Department have a firm belief that all students should have every opportunity to develop their talents to the full. The curriculum prepares students for the rigours of GCSE and A level Sciences. Learning in, and through, the sciences creates opportunities for discovery through which students make sense of, and become passionate about, the environment around them. The sciences develop enquiring minds and nurture learners' natural curiosity, imagination and creativity. At the very earliest stages, children show wonder and awe as they find out about the natural world and living things.

Your new role:
You will need to plan and deliver dynamic Science lessons to pupils, teaching Biology, Chemistry, Physics and ensure pupils develop their working scientifically skills. They will need to ask scientific questions, plan investigations and record data and then they will need to go and analyse and evaluate their data. You will need to monitor and assess students to ensure they make maximum progress.

The ideal candidate:
* Hold a UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS/QLTS) with Science as a discipline
* This role is also suitable for ECTs looking for a supportive School to complete their induction year
* Have good subject knowledge and experience of teaching across KS3 and KS4 in a UK school setting (KS5 is advantageous but not essential)
* Be able to plan and deliver engaging lessons
* Monitor and assess pupils effectively to ensure pupil progress
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong classroom and behaviour management
*A valid enhanced DBS check on the update service (or be willing to process one with us)
