Strategic Account Manager
This role reports into Director of Sales and Marketing
Overview
The Strategic Account Manager will sit within the Sales team. The primary focus of this role is to always deliver exceptional customer service within the existing managed support customer base as well as working with new and potential clients. The Strategic Account Manager will be required to work closely with the wider Sales and Marketing team, Customer Service and the Service Desk. The role will require excellent organisation, communication and relationship building skills.
Key Responsibilities
Work with the Sales team to look after several existing clients; holding regular strategic review meetings, building relationships and identifying sales opportunities to build pipeline
Work with new and potential clients; identifying opportunities and demonstrating the customer journey using our client's Proven Partnership Process
Work with the Customer Service Team and the Service Desk to ensure that incidents are dealt with efficiently and customer expectations are managed correctly
Produce contractual paperwork for new contracts and renewals for existing clients
Conduct new client on boarding for users, working with the Customer Service team to clearly set expectations from the start
Nurture new clients and ensure the customer journey goes smoothly and all parts of the process are followed
Constantly review and suggest improvements in our customer service approach to ensure excellence in customer management and communication
Liaise with 3rd party vendors, produce quotes, place orders and advise clients on what end user kit to purchase based on requirements
Skills Required
Excellent communication skills essential
Ability to manage a diverse workload and work calmly under pressure with an organised and methodical approach to tasks
Customer service always remaining the driver
Exceptional team working skills
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm (occasionally overtime may be required to fulfil client requirements)
