About the role:

The Account Manager is responsible to build and execute marketing campaigns to create awareness, interest and desire for their own products and the products of their vendors, in the Digital Service and Operations Management and RPA space.

This is a new business development role, so the successful account manager will be a self-starting and driven professional with a proven track record in selling large scale transformations to a range of organisations and sectors.

  • Working closely with internal and external teams to generate interest with prospects and customers in around service management, operations management and automation / RPA space
  • Execute on sales opportunities, owning the process throughout the sales lifecycle
  • Work closely with external Account Managers as well as business development representatives (BDRs) to align with their campaigns to support new logo growth
  • Work closely with pre-sales team members to understand customer use cases and outcomes
  • Negotiate sale and buy price for licences
  • Work closely with Professional Services to align implementation services
  • Report achievement vs targets, present quarterly business plans

Technical / Business Skills:
  • Proven new business development skills
  • Ability to plan activity against expected revenue targets
  • Experience of selling software licences (preferably SaaS), value-based sales
  • Experience working to a sales methodology, such as MEDDIC
  • Interest in enterprise software technologies
  • Use of Salesforce as CRM Tool or similar
  • Experience of selling IT Service Management or IT Service Assurance products would be beneficial

Interpersonal Skills and Competencies:
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to present solutions and proposals to senior level execs
  • Numerate, able to understand revenue and margin calculations
  • Strong negotiation skills with customers and partners

This is pretty much a remote role but there will of course be an expectation to visit and meet clients to help with the sales cycle
