Financial Analyst (Regional) | £325 - £350 per day (Umbrella), London + Travel For a well-known youth training and activity provider, we are recruiting an Interim Finance Analyst for 3-6 months. This role will act as Finance Business Partner to the 4 Training and Activity Centres around the UK, the Property Team, and the Transformation Projects Team, leading month-end processing, and reporting. The Financial Analyst will lead cost modelling analysis to improve decision-making and enhance organisation-wide reporting. This role will also lead on the user training and roll out of a new online PO and supplier authorisation system across the UK-wide Centres and support the finance ledger upgrade. The role will be hybrid working with two days a week in the London office / and or with travel to the UK-Centres.Main Duties:Ensure stakeholders across the 4 UK-wide Training and Activity centres have robust management accounts across all activities and capital projects and that controls, systems and processes are adhered toEnsure monthly financial reports are produced and that the month-end closure of accounts are completed effectivelyBusiness Partner with the Training and Activity Centre managers in preparing budgets, forecasts, and plans; provide weekly cash-flow forecastsProvide project managers, the Head of Transformation, Project Board and other stakeholders with month-end project reports and work with budgets holders to understand budget varianceDesign Costing Models to enable the training and activity centres to fully cost events and activities and improve month-end reporting packages to enhance decision-makingSupport, guide and train staff across financial processes, and controlsSupport the roll out and user training of the new PO and invoice authorisation systemTravel to one of the 4 UK sites on a weekly (fully expensed)Person Specification:Qualified Accountant with strong finance business partnering experienceExperience of developing commercial reporting for activities and events within the hospitality sectorDesigning, testing, and rolling out costing modelsStrong management accounts preparation and other financial analysis for different audiencesExperience of leading month-end and year-end activitiesExperience of managing, motivating, and supporting direct reports as well as wider stakeholders and non-finance managersIdeally experience with SORP accounting, Access Dimensions, and FocalpointHybrid working with two days a week in the London office / and or with travel to the UK-Centres.________As an employer, we are committed to ensuring the representation of people from all backgrounds regardless of their gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, race, religion, ethnicity, age, neurodiversity, disability status, or any other aspect which makes them unique.
