Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum

Overview

2Fawcett are recruiting for a Maintenance Manager for a market Leading company based in Nottingham. This is the ideal role for an experienced Engineer who has supervisor/management experience and is looking for a new and challenging role.

The Role & Responsibilities of the Maintenance Manager
  • Manage the maintenance team and contractors as part of the maintenance intervention activities (predictive, preventive or corrective)
  • Participate in the site health and safety program and lead the maintenance team from a Health and Safety perspective. Identify report and resolve health and safety concerns with the equipment, machinery and building services
  • Develop and implement a maintenance system that supports the management of all maintenance activities required by the site including but not limited to identifying required work, recording work executed to develop an equipment history, identifying spare stock replenishment requirements
  • Ensure maintenance and repair work is carried out according to acceptable business and/or industry standards to ensure equipment functions as designed post repair
  • Ensure breakdowns of equipment are rectified in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ensure corrective actions are recorded, progressed and completed with a completion date
  • Manage the repair and overhaul of machinery and equipment
  • Manage and develop the PPM program, ensuring that the scheduled work is carried out
  • In accordance with the site's operational plan and the maintenance strategy, develop a spares requirement list for the site.
  • Develop and implement a spare stocking system that ensures that spare inventory is easily identified and that stock is replenished.
  • Manage and improve inspection and preventative tools such as thermal imaging, vibration analysis and oil sampling
  • Provide support to Project Teams and Operational Management on Capital projects
  • Lead Site Engineering Projects from conception through to delivery and install
  • When staffing levels and plant conditions require, personally carry out reactive repair work and planned preventative maintenance within the plant, ensuring that health and safety within the entire plant is a priority
  • Measure and perform against agreed KPI's including availability, budgets and TPH targets
  • Control spending and economic commitments in accordance with the budget allocated
