My client a City based law firm are currently looking for a Group Reporting Accountant to join their busy London team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for producing, reviewing and distributing non-UK location specific management accounts to the office partners, International Finance Operations Managers and International Business Managers.
Day to day responsibilities will include:
Producing monthly management accounts, period end UK GAAP accounts for audit support files and managing the audit of the non-UK audit entities. Reviewing, monitoring and explaining significant variances.Handling accounts queries raised by the International Tax Manager and International finance operations managers working as directed by the Regional Financial Controller (EMEA).Working closely with the EMEA Financial Controller and International Finance managers to ensure that accruals are captured.Balance sheet reconciliationsLine managing and developing an International Accounts Assistant.Managing the collation and inputs of overhead planning information to the planning system for the international offices.Providing Gl analysis upon request.Developing hands on use of Adaptive planning, Aderant and BI tools.Developing an understanding of local GAAP differencesDeveloping a good understanding of the transfer pricing policy and action recharges as appropriate.Developing an understanding of revenue and cost recognition policies aligned with tax practice.
In addition to being a part-qualified accountant, you will bring the following skills and experiences:
Significant experience of working with high performing teams within professional services.Demonstrable audit experience gained within practice.Working knowledge of direct and indirect tax reporting and compliance.Continuous improvement mindset.
