PMO / Junior Project Manager - Retail Banking - Hybrid Manchester / Home
Our client, a UK Retail Bank is looking for a Junior Project Manager for an initial 6 month contract.
This role will be Inside IR35 and will be a hybrid Manchester and Home based role.
Your responsibilities will include:
Working alongside the Project Manager to provide oversight and project governance
Proactively track, create, and monitor their Risk and Dependencies - working closely with the Project Manager, Finance, and the Workstream Leads
Using their Change Toolkit to develop project plans
Take responsibility for the timely completion of project and programme governance
Your background will include:
Some experience as PMO, Project Support, or Junior PM within a retail bank including - Governance, Project Planning, Project Finance, and possibly even creating board packs. So you will be an excellent communicator and will also be a confident Excel and PowerPoint user.
Your communication skills will help you with stakeholder management and your PMO skills will be needed to help manage project dependencies and ensure that the teams are delivering what is required for the project. You'll also be comfortable with technology.
This is a great opportunity to progress your career in PMO or Junior Project Management in a leading UK Bank. This is for an initial 6 months - but is likely to last 18 months.
£350/400 per day Inside IR35
