A mainstream Primary School in Plumstead are looking for a Teaching Assistant to support a child within their Year 5 class.

The role is available for an ASAP start, and will follow the child until the end of their Primary School journey. The child will be moving in to Year 6 from September, so they are looking for someone who will foster a strong relationship with the child and continue to work with them throughout next academic year also (ASAP start until July 2023).

You will be working with a child who has ASD. They are lovely and well natured, but can become easily distracted from work, preferring to explore and play. So the school are looking for someone with a calm but firm approach, who can help keep them on task and focused on the work.

ASAP start, continuing until July 2023
5 days per week - Monday to Friday
Working from 8:30am until 3:30pm
Supporting a child who has Autism Ideally you will have prior experience of supporting children with Autism.

Salary for this post will range from £70 to £90 per day, dependant on experience.

All quoted rates are inclusive of 12.07% holiday pay.
