Are you a Systems Safety Assurance Engineer with experience working on rail infrastructure experience?
Do you have extensive common safety method (CSM) experience?
Rate: Dependant on experience - outside IR35
Contract length: 6 months +
Location: Ideally Birmingham 2 days a week (negotiable)
This is a fantastic opportunity working for a major design consultancy who are working on HS2 ltd. This is a contract role and ideally the candidate can come to their Birmingham office 2 days a week but this is flexible for the right person.
Role will involve Ensuring compliance with the Common Safety Method 2012 through active monitoring and audit, as well as providing advice and management on issues involving CSM.
Requirements:
·Systems Safety Assurance Engineer with experience working on rail infrastructure projects
·Good understanding of Common Safety Method and the Railway Interoperability Regulations and how it is applied in a Rail environment with respect to design and compliance.
·Good knowledge of CDM, its application and its principles
·Good knowledge of engineering design standards for the UK Rail Network and British and European Standards
·Experience working with Assessment Body, Notified Body and Designated Body
