Finance Manager, Guildford, to c£50k + Bonus + Parking
This is a full time, permanent, office-based job. The client's offices are in central Guildford with parking.
In this varied and challenging Finance Manager role, supported by 2 staff you will be responsible for both the company Finances as well as for playing a key part in the business' day to day running and management.
Duties will include:
Preparing Monthly Management Accounts and presenting to the Board of Directors.Preparing Annual Budgets and updating the Board each month with forecasts.Managing Payroll, Pensions, Staff Expenses and general cost management control.Bank Reconciliations, including foreign currencies.Managing the 12 week rolling Cash Flow forecast.Assisting the Directors in ad-hoc duties where required.Supervise the accounts/admin team.Preparing and Submitting Quarterly VAT Returns.Managing third party agreements including Insurance, Pensions, health care, HMRC and Commercial Agreements.Undertaking all end of year reconciliations and preparations for annual audit.Key support to the Directors in commercial negotiations and business development.
Part Qualified Accountant or Qualified by Experience.Experience using accounting / IT systems incl Excel, Word, Outlook.Good interpersonal and communication skills.Able to work to deadlines.Have a genuine interest in learning about the business and it's markets.Able to make decisions and to contribute as a Senior member of the Management Team.
This is a full time permanent office based role, hours are 9-5.30. The salary is up to c£50,000 and benefits include 25 days holiday, company bonus (between 5-10% based on company and personal performance) plus pension, health insurance and parking.
