Becoming a Project Co-Ordinator with Smart DCC:

A fantastic opportunity to secure a 6 month contract as a Project Co-ordinator with Smart DCC. The Project Co-ordinator will join the Business Accuracy Programme and play a key role in the successful delivery of change at DCC. This programme is internally focussed and will deliver a suite of processes; policy, procedures, governance, reporting and systems that will provide controls across the organisation.

What you'll be doing:

Deliver effective Project Management leadership ensuring effective and efficient programme and project controls and reporting are in place
Build and maintain effective relationships with Programme Leadership - able to influence and provide scrutiny, challenge and insight across the programmes.
Be accountable for the provision of all key PMO services (Planning, Costs, Resourcing, Risk and Issue management, status reporting, Governance, Controls and methodology compliance).
Develop and mature improved capability across the programme, working in collaboration with the workstream leads, 3rd party suppliers and internal functions to improve ways of working.
Ensure DCC methodologies, standards, policies and templates are applied effectively across assigned programmes and take appropriate action where exceptions occur and assuring the completion of the Gate processes and adherence to the internal change methodology.
Build consultative relationships with wider Senior Management Leadership Teams, including Programme Directors and Director of Practice.
Produce governance packs and reporting's which may be used across the Senior Leadership team.

What we're looking for:

3+ years leading a PMO team in a Senior PMO / lead PMO or PMO Manager role working in a fast paced, technology, IT and regulated environment. Experience of the energy / utility industry required
Exceptional collaboration and relationship development/management skills with the confidence to effectively challenge others where appropriate
Excellent stakeholder management skills at all levels of an organisation
Excellent communication and drafting skills with an ability to filter/interpret technical programme updates and provide clear, concise reports for non-technical audiences
Previous use of PPM applications (e.g. Clarity) and strong MS applications skills including SharePoint, Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Visio
Experience of financial tracking and reporting against targets / budgets.
