DescriptionOverall Purpose of the Job:
You will be part of a highly customer-facing and solution-led team working to deliver our Membership management product. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering multiple projects within cost, time and quality boundaries.
Responsible for managing project challenges in a resilient, proactive and confident manner
Defining, managing and executing detailed project plans
Owning and being accountable for the project budget and delivering projects profitably
Updating and maintaining internal resource and project management records and systems
Maintain timely, open and clear communications with internal and external stakeholders to ensure visibility of status, plan and actions
Delivery of individual and project utilisation targets
Managing project risks, issues, dependencies and constraints and taking proactive, timely and appropriate action
Matrix-management of internal and external resources
Supporting resource, capacity and dependency planning for effective project delivery
Managing change throughout projects in line with established processes
Ensuring delivery is managed through quality gateways within the Silverbear methodology
Develop and maintain knowledge of Silverbear's products and use this to challenge and refine projects
Develop and maintain project management knowledge and share this to continually improve working practices, productivity and profitability of other projects
PERSON SPECIFICATION
At least 5 years of project management experience of CRM / Software implementations
Experience managing multiple projects, preferably 3+ concurrently
CRM product knowledge, ideally MS Dynamics (version 2011 & 2013)
Accredited project management qualification, i.e. PRINCE 2, PMP
Proven record of having responsibility and managing multiple workloads with time critical deliverables
Must understand commercial aspects of projects such as change control, budgets and utilisation
Proven experience of owning, tracking and reporting on project budgets internally and externally
Background as IT or CRM consultant
Ability to support consultants running workshops or documenting requirements
Experience of Professional Membership Organisations, Trade Associations or Regulatory Bodies
Customer Focus:
Excellent interpersonal skills, able to develop and maintain rapport, empathy and relationships with customers externally and internally
Able to challenge and influence decision-makers
Experience of negotiating and managing customer expectations to a deliver win:win position
Able to work collaboratively as part of a larger delivery team (project managers, product managers, technical architects and others
Delivering Results:
Able to demonstrate past experience of drive for results, with the ability to maintain focus and respond quickly within a fast paced and rapidly changing environment
Ability to continually organise and prioritise own and others work to ensure delivery to targets
Demonstrate a high level of reliability
Focused on delivering projects to meet or exceed profit, schedule and quality targets
Other:
Willing to travel to Guildford office and customer locations as required
You will be part of a highly customer-facing and solution-led team working to deliver our Membership management product. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering multiple projects within cost, time and quality boundaries.
- Manage and deliver projects to a clear plan from late sales (possibly assisting in presales) through to hand over to our support team
- Work on multiple projects at different stages that vary in size from £75k to £1M; majority of projects being £75K to £150K
- Build and maintain trusting customer and team relationships
- Manage the effective and profitable delivery of the project by facilitating configuration, development, and creative resources (with assistance from Development and Product Managers) to budget and financial targets
- Compile and maintain project documentation including project plans, PSR's, RAID log, etc.
