1-2-1 SEN Teacher

Location: Ealing

Role: 1-2-1 SEN Teacher

Duration: Part-time, September Start

Pay: £20 - £25 per hour (depending on experience)

Teaching Personnel are currently looking for an experienced, confident and energetic SEN Teacher. If you are a qualified Teacher with intensive SEN experience, then this role could be for you!

About the role:

- Working as a 1-2-1 Teacher with an ASD child (behaviour is not an issue - low cognitive functioning)

- The hours would be from 12:30 to 16:00 every day for the academic year

- Teaching, marking, and assessing the work

- Writing reports in Autumn Term and Summer Term

- Taking part in 3 parents' evenings a year and attending the Annual Review next April

- Teaching everything but Maths and English at EYFS/Year 1 Level

Ideal candidate:

Have experience or passion for working with children with SEN
Flexible, proactive, and patient
Training or experience in non-verbal communication is desirable/willingness to learn
Teaching Qualification (UK) necessary

Essential criteria:

Have a child only DBS on the Update Service - or be willing to apply for one
Right to work in the UK
A passion for working with children with SEN
Have QTS/PGCE qualification

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
