Our client a leader within their industry require a Automation test engineer with a minimum of 3-5 years experience with the skills listed below, ideally using Automation within a C#, .Net development environment. The role is hybrid working with 2 days a MONTH in the office then working remotely. The role is OUTSIDE IR35

SUMMARY OF ROLE:

To build, maintain and execute automated testing solutions, to provide assurance that key applications satisfy business requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·Design, build and implement automation test frameworks (C# Web (Selenium), API(Restsharp) and Mobile (Appium))

·Maintain CI build pipelines (Azure)

·Create and maintain automated test scripts using appropriate methodology (BDD - Specflow)

·Engage closely with Software Developers, Business Analysts and Product Managers to identify, assess, prioritise and resolve issues

KEY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

·ISTQB or ISEB

·Knowledge of TDD, (A)TDD and BDD

·Experience in automated testing of web, desktop and mobile applications

·Advanced Knowledge of C#, JavaScript and SQL

·Knowledge of Software Testing theories and practices

·Knowledge of Software Engineering processes

·Developing Test Automation within an Agile environment

·Knowledge of the full Software Development Lifecycle

·Experience of Microservices (Docker)

·Experience of CI/CD (Azure)

·Experience in API testing (Postman/SoapUI)

KNOWLEDGE:

·Knowledge of TDD, (A)TDD and BDD

·Programming languages, including but not limited to: C# and JavaScript.

·Application frameworks, including Microsoft .NET, and ASP.NET.

·Positive Solutions company policies and procedures.

·Development methodologies including Agile & SCRUM

·Experience in the use of JavaScript Test frameworks (Cypress)
