About the role

We are looking for a BMS biased Installation Team Leader to join our full service, energy solutions business. They will be responsible for performing electrical installation audits, overseeing, and planning the installation requirements of jobs, acting as the technical lead on installation matters, carrying out metering surveys and installations ensuring the highest level of health and safety standards are adhered to. They would also be expected to interface with client on site, as well as our inhouse support and engineering team. A knowledge and experience in Tridium, Trend and/or Cylon would be advantageous but not essential at this stage. The role will involve travel and out of hours working as required.

What you'll actually do
  • Leading an installation team that will grow over time.
  • Control Panel Wiring and Fault Finding
  • Tray work, conduit, and containment installation
  • Power Connections to buildings services equipment
  • Reading and following electrical schematics and panel drawings
  • Wiring BMS control systems and networks
  • 3-phase motor wiring, switches, building infrastructure
  • Metering installation and networking
  • BMS point to point commissioning
  • Electrical testing and fault-finding circuits
  • Electrical Installation on-site
  • Provide the highest level of customer service
  • Provide technical advice to colleagues and customers
  • Work as a team to get the installation complete within the specified deadline
  • Completing reports following site visits
  • Ensuring the health and safety rules are followed
  • Supporting the growth of the business by expanding skills through development and training as well as sharing knowledge and skills with others to aid in growth of the overall service delivery team
  • Working in a team environment; motivating and supporting all team members as they develop through the business


What you'll need
  • Experience in all technical electrical installation practices
  • Experience with metering and Modbus networks
  • Knowledge of Trend and/or Tridium and/or Cylon BMS software and associated wiring requirements
  • Knowledge of other BMS systems is advantageous
  • Must have a full, clean driving license
  • 17/18th edition wiring regulations certified
  • CSCS/ECS gold card holder
