JD Ross are working with a major British manufacturing business within the renewable market currently looking to hire a number of contractors across their project management team:
Right now I am currently looking to speak with experienced Project Manager's to co-ordinate multiple projects. This will include regularly liaising with customers, project partners, grant bodies, suppliers and sub-contractors. This role will expect you to travel within the UK and Europe.
Responsibilities:-
- Writing tenders and bid proposals
- Managing projects to tight timelines and budgets
- Coordinating sub-contractors and suppliers
- Overseeing installation, commissioning and testing of products
- Interacting with customers and grant bodies
- Technical and project reporting to funding bodies and consortiums
- Ensuring site safety is being adhered to
About You
The successful candidate will be driven, pragmatic and be able to work without supervision but be able to seek support and advice when necessary.
- Degree qualified Engineer (preferably Mechanical, Electrical) with strong core project skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Problem solving ability
- Customer facing experience
- Experience delivering to tough timelines
- full clean UK driving license and no travel restrictions is essential.
