£19,095 - £21,000

Hays, the global leading recruitment company currently have an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Administrator to support our recruitment specialisms in our Birmingham city centre office.

The role is critical to the on-going success of the business; therefore, this role requires a committed and focused individual and you will thrive on working in a fast paced and demanding environment. Working in a team, your main responsibilities will be to ensure all our temporary workers are fully compliant ahead of their start date. This will involve following up on outstanding actions with candidates on compliance checks, including requesting and chasing up references, requesting for documents and forms to be completed. In addition, you will update all relevant compliance info on the Hays Database & SharePoint and produce daily reports on Excel for the team to summarise actions require.

Daily duties will include:

Checking candidate records accurately
Uploading candidate details on to systems
Inputting candidate diversity monitoring forms
Completing candidate application forms
Checking Eligibility and ID
Checking Terms of Registration are signed
Adhering to all parts of the Procedures Manual
Requesting new CRB checks
Managing CRB query rates
Requesting credit checks and International credit checks/ Overseas police checks if required
Assisting with internal and external audits
Assisting with general pay queries
Assisting with activity and business reports as required
Liaising with Hays on-site teams if requiredThis role will suit an individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build professional working relationships with a wide variety of people. It is essential that you are customer focused with a positive and can-do attitude. This is a busy and demanding role therefore it is essential that you have the ability to prioritise a changing workload. Excellent IT knowledge in both Word & Excel is essential. Full training will be provided for this role.
