Assistant Director - Foundation & Learning Support
Omnia People are partnered with a high performing College who offer their students an "outstanding quality of education" (Ofsted 2022). Our client is looking for an Assistant Director in Foundation and Learning to work with a high number of SEND students who study both on mainstream and bespoke programmes.
This exciting new position of Assistant Director - Foundation and Learning Support has been created to take responsibility for the SEND provision. You will direct the work of the School of Foundation and Learning Support, which includes bespoke provision for SEND learners as well as cross college SEND provision. You will also work closely with local authorities to ensure that students receive the best support so they can reach their potential. You will also have oversight across the college in relation to SEND funding, quality monitoring of student targets and training for staff on SEND.
You should be a SEND specialist and qualified teacher with experience of leading and managing a large department. You will have extensive knowledge and experience of funding and Additional Learning Support for high needs learners, and will be enthusiastic, proactive and an excellent leader.
